I upgraded my phone OS for Motorola RAZR MAXX on 7-21-12 to the Android 4.0.4. My calendar events in my MS Outlook 2007 were deleted I presume after the auto sync process. I need to know how to recover my MS Outlook events.

Hello,

Have you tried the “Reset” option in the Advanced menu on your RAZR? This will download everything that is currently stored in the cloud. You can log into the OneMediaHub.com site and verify that your calendar information is there before you try the device reset. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

I had the same problem. I updated the OS in my Droid Razr and it deleted all 215 events on my phone and on my server and then in my outlook. how do I restore them?

@ sportspt:
if you want to recover your events, try to login on our portal (https://onemediahub.com). Once you are logged in, click on the “Calendar” tab, then you should see an arrow next to the string “TODAY,DAY, WEEK, MONTH” on the top bar of the screen.
If you click on that arrow, you should be able to see the option “Undo deletes”. If you click on it, it should restore all your deleted events on the portal.

Once done, you can use the “refresh from server” option on both your Android device and your Outlook client in order to restore them. Let me know if you need help on it.

Cheers,
Francesca

I currently have this same issue and I am able to recover my calendar, however the synching process continually erases my online calendar and then my Outlook calendar. I cannot “view” the calendar on my device from the OneMediaHub either. Is synching to the Android calendar a know issue or am I missing something?

@14073416559: sorry, I am not sure to get completely your problem. What do you mean with “I cannot “view” the calendar on my device from the OneMediaHub either” ? I guess the steps you are doing are:
- use the “Undo deletes” feature of the portal to recover the deleted events
- perform a “reset from server” on the Android client and on Outlook
- then continue with the normal sync on Android and Outlook

Is it correct or are you doing something different? At what point you cannot view the calendar on your device?

Thanks,
Francesca

mokrates

I too updated my android. now all my calendar-entries are gone (and that got to all machines.).
The undelete function just tells me “Operation wird nicht unterstuetzt”, or “Command not supported” (roughly translated…).
Don’t exactly know, if i used it wrong, or the message doesn’t make sense, or why there is that button anyway…

Hi mokrates,

thanks for your feedback. We verified that it is actually a bug of our portal UI, I have filled it into our bug tracker and we will solve it as soon as possible.

Cheers,
Francesca

I believe that I am encountering the same bug. I installed onemediahub on my Android phone (4.1.2) and the Windows app on my laptop. My calendar events get copied to the hub, but when I enable sync on my phone, it deletes all the events from the cloud and, subsequently, from Outlook. It seems like sync is running the wrong way, even when I specify a reset from server.

Any idea when this might be fixed? I am looking for a way to keep my Android calendar synched with outlook.

Thanks.

Hi decafmocha,

the bug on the portal is already fixed but we need to deploy on OneMediaHub.

At the moment I don’t know when we will upgrade OneMediaHub to the latest version, but it should happen quite soon.

Thanks,
Francesca

My calendar has disappeared off of my Motorola Razr Droid. I have tried to reset, undo delete resent from server which it will not let me do and on the droid the calendars to display show that the device calendar is non-syncable. Please help.

Hi Jan,

are the events correctly stored on the portal or are they not visible also on that?

Thanks,
Francesca

Dear Francesca: I resolved it by uninstalling on my smart phone and reinstalling. It now works fine. Thanks. JAN

I’ve the same problem since last saturday. I too updated my android. now all(!) my calendar-entries at thunderbird and the MobilePhone are gone. Now I read about the “undo delete” possibility but there are only the date of today and nothing from the last saturday/friday. I’ve also reset the calendar at the mobile, but nothing happend.
Is there the possibility to get a Data recovery of the date 7.th february?
thanks, Susan
