Can't sync

So I used to use FunV10 to sync my AOL account contacts to my phone, and it worked pretty well. But when I tried it few days ago it kept exiting the app every time I would try to sync. I reinstalled the app and now it won’t even let me log in despite using the same username and password. It just alternates between saying “Wrong Credentials. Check username or password” or “HTTP error: wrong server url.”

I have also tried using One Media Hub but it doesn’t sync my contacts like FunV10 did.

How can I make one of these work?

Hi,

Did you re-installed FunV10, or the latest version of OneMediaHub? If you installed OneMediaHub, this application connect only on OneMediaHub server, to can sync with other servers (like AOL) you need to install FunV10.

I tried reinstalling both and neither one works. FunV10 won’t let me log in after the reinstall. Every time I try, I get the error messages quoted above. Before the reinstall the program quit on me every time I tried to sync. Either way FunV10 doesn’t work for me, though it did before.

same here since last Tuesday and i really need my calendar back! calls to my provider direct me to uninstall and reinstall, when that was ineffective i was told to contact the ap. Which can’t be done as no info exists to contact support.
Please help

I have the same problem! I have used FunV10 to sync my AOl contact and iPhone5 for the last few months and this has been really great but on Friday last week I added a couple of phone numbers but now the phone and AOL will not Sync.

I deleted and then reinstalled the App but this has had no effect, it appears to me that the phone now cannot log on to do the transaction.

My wife has the same phone and has been using FunV10 in the same way so I tried it on her phone and it appears to have exaclty the same problem. From what I can see this App stopped working some time last week. AOL will not help!! (“don’t assist with third part applicaitons”)

Any ideas anyone, please????

could you please try if you are able to login to the AOL service on their portal? Seems that the problem doesn’t depends from Funambol application.

Sorry do not understand what you mean. When I try to log in FunV10 I keep getting a message that says FunV10 Alert “Wrong Credentilas. Please check you Username and Password” on other times is says “HTTP error: wrong server url”.

if you go on the portal http://msync.aol.com/ with a browser, do you can login in the service using the same credentials that you put on FUNV10?

Hello Again – Yes I can log in and out on that portal have done this a number of times! I cannot though use the service there as that potal only seems aimed at AOL members in the USA and I am in the UK.

I can also log in and out on the server, but this doesn’t solve my problem either. I am an AOL user but I can’t use the server to sync my contacts; I don’t see that option anywhere on the server. Besides the problem is with the app, not the server.

Hello Alessio – Based on my experience, what others say here and other things I can read on the internet the situation is as follows. The FunV10 app stopped working some time last week and many people have tried deleting and re installing but that has no effect.

When we now try to log in we all get messages that tell us that we have entered either the wrong Username, Password or Server Url. I seem to get a different message each time!!

If we try to log onto your other portal we can log in so the system their recognizes our Username and Password but we cannot of course use that portal to Sync like we use to!

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi All,

we are investigating on it, and since we don’t controll AOL site, at the moment we can only try the FUNV10 app with our servers, and we can say that the app works correctly, also because we don’t manage this version of application from a long time (now becomes OneMediaHub, and sinc only on OneMediaHub site).

At the moment we are waiting some feedbacks from AOL team, then please be patient, we come back to you asap.

Hello Again – Thanks for all your help have just tried to Sync AOL and FunV10 has just started to work again!!!
